A torque limiter prevents possible damage due to the accidental entry of branches and other objects hidden in the snow, which could get stuck in the auger or the rotating helix of the blower during snow removal operations to restore traffic circulation in extra urban areas. The ice-breaking helixes in HARDOX®️ minimize the wear of the serrated auger caused by the possible presence of gravel or stones in the snow collected.

 

The utmost care taken in finding the best setup between rotation of the front auger and inner rotating helix, in relation to the gear ratio offered by the gear system that transfers motion from the Power Pack to the Gearbox, allows YETI HD-I to be extremely effective in dealing with any type of snow.
