This is a precise technical choice, visible under the protective cover bolted to the side, in order to meet the concrete need of simplifying any maintenance operation on the motor.

 

Thanks to this configuration, any technical or maintenance work can be carried out more quickly and directly on site.

 

Indeed, the external motor allows the operator to work directly on the component involved, without having to disassemble the entire roller, thus ensuring lower machine downtime and greater continuity in daily work. However practicality is not the only advantage, since there is an additional feature that makes the Manta sweeper particularly efficient: the external position of the motor preserves the effective working width of the internal rotor, which has no areas without bristles.

 

The entire useful extension of the rotor is exploited to the maximum from side to side, ensuring uniform and constant cleaning of the entire working area.

The care and maintenance of solar panels require state-of-the-art equipment that is easy to use, precise and efficient. Through the technological renewal of the Manta Solar solar panel broom, U.Emme has aimed at creating an innovative system combining a wireless touchscreen display with ultrasonic sensors, which altogether offer the best performance in the cleaning of photovoltaic panels, simplifying the whole control process of the position of the broom on the surface to be cleaned.

 

Operation and information provided by the sensors 
The Manta Solar broom is equipped with four strategically positioned sensors (UP LEFT, UP RIGHT, DOWN LEFT, DOWN RIGHT) that monitor the distance of the broom from the panels. These sensors are the heart of this piece of equipment and allow the operator to view important information on the display, which provides a clear visual indication of the broom position on the surface to be cleaned in real time.

 

Using coloured bars, the display infographics provides an immediate guide on the correct position of the broom. Colours are easy to understand and allow the operator to promptly intervene if the broom is too far from or too close to the panel. Below is the meaning of the different colours.

 

– White: The broom is not in the correct position since it is too far from the panel, making cleaning ineffective.

 

– Green: The broom is in the correct position for best cleaning. When the light of all 4 sensors is green, you get the best position of the Manta Solar broom.

 

– Yellow: The broom is in a borderline position, since cleaning is still possible but there is the risk of getting too close to the solar panels in case of subsidence.

 

– Red: The broom is too close to the panel, so there is a high risk of impact with the photovoltaic panels and it is thus necessary to reposition the broom.

 

Together with the red light, a long-lasting sound signal is also emitted to help the operator correct the position as required. The display not only signals the position of the broom, but it also includes smart indicators providing further details for complete control. Bluetooth connection indicator: When the icon is green, it means that the application is correctly connected to the system. If it is not green, it is necessary to repeat the connection process. Rotation reversal button: It allows the operator to change the broom direction with a clear visual indication on the display through the change of the icon colour.

Our Manta STD and Manta HD Sweepers are designed to ensure maximum efficiency during cleanup operations. These sweepers are equipped with a collection bucket located behind the cleaning roller. This means that all debris picked up pass over the roller and fall into the rear bucket.

 

For this reason, the sweepers have to rotate clockwise—looking at the sweeper from the motor side—with respect to the forward direction the machine operates in.

 

Understanding the importance of this rotation system is crucial. If the sweeper rotated in a counterclockwise direction, the debris would escape from underneath.

 

Another important feature is the position of use of the machine. Although the sweeper is equipped with a double-bevel blade bolted to the collection bucket, it has to operate as close as possible to the pavement.
This is necessary to prevent the bolt-on blade from excessively scraping against the road surface and to protect it against excessive wear. If the equipment is used properly, its mechanism will last longer and will need less maintenance.

The V-Type Snow Plow LV from U.EMME is a versatile, efficient, and functional tool. Its adaptability is guaranteed by five primary working setups, allowing it to tackle a wide range of tasks effectively:

 

– Wedge mode for quickly clearing roadways;

– Spoon mode for transporting snow piles to storage areas;

– Horizontal mode for pushing snow to create piles;

– Left 35° tilting for clearing snow pushing it to the roadside;

– Right 35° tilting also for snow clearing.

 

These five different configurations are possible thanks to the adjustable position of the two mobile wings, which are independently controlled by hydraulic cylinders.

 

Each model is equipped with a horizontal self-levelling function and an anti-shock system with spring return on two sectors of the blade, ensuring smooth and effective snow removal on roads and large open areas.
