COBRA
The updated skid steer grader attachment COBRA series offers four models perfect for levelling jobs, provided with technical solutions that make the whole range unique in its genre. The levelling blade is equipped with double-bevel bolted cutting edge in wear resistant steel, so it is reversible and easy to replace. The levelling blade can be hydraulically displaced to the right or left side horizontally by more than 40 cm from the centre position. The presence of 2 double effect hydraulic cylinders allow the levelling blade to rotate 34° (angulation) while another 2 cylinders allow the blade to tilt 35° to the right and left.
Each COBRA hydraulic function can be controlled manually through one of the six types of available controls, be completely automated using a self-levelling laser signal system, or it can be set hybrid namely manual and automated control with self-levelling laser system. The newly designed compact frame possesses the 360° rotating wheels support axle inside, a solution which offers huge structural strength, while the distributor seat has been obtained inside the frame, allowing the operator maximum visibility. The distributor with which to equip each COBRA model can be of the on/off or proportional type, the latter guarantees extreme precision performance by working in manual mode and even more if the hydraulic functions are independently managed by a self-levelling laser signal system.
The standard COBRA equipment is completed with two side plates welded on the levelling blade on which the support poles of the receivers for the laser signal sent from the level on the tripod are easily fixed. Available accessories, which can be requested when ordering or installed at a later time: 2 mechanically directable lateral panels on fixed positions at 45° or 90° which can be installed directly on the levelling blade and a steel strip which can be bolted to the upper portion of the levelling blade, to give it a greater height and the ability to handle more material.
